About Blodgett Ovens

Blodgett has been building commercial ovens since 1848, when a local Vermont tavern needed a better one. The company is still based in Essex Junction, Vermont, and Blodgett ovens have been shipping overseas since the late 1800s.

The range covers full-size and countertop convection ovens (DFG, Mark V, Zephaire, CTB), Invoq and BLCT combi ovens, HV and HVH hydrovection ovens with Helix technology, 900/1000/1400 series stone-hearth deck ovens, and XR8 rotating rack ovens. Chumart stocks the line with fast U.S. shipping.

Blodgett — Frequently Asked Questions

What warranty comes with Blodgett ovens?

It depends on the family. DFG, Mark V and CTB convection ovens carry 3 years parts and 2 years labor, plus 2 additional years on the door (parts only, excluding glass). XR8 rotating rack ovens and deck ovens carry 2 years parts and 1 year labor plus 3 additional years on the door. Zephaire is 2 years parts and 2 years labor plus 1 additional year on the door. Combi and Hydrovection ovens are 1 year parts and 1 year labor. Coverage starts on the installation date or 90 days after shipment, whichever is earlier.

Are Blodgett ovens gas or electric?

Both. Most convection and deck families are offered in gas and electric versions — the model number usually carries an E or a G, for example Mark V-100 E and Mark V-100 G. Gas models are configured for natural gas or liquid propane. The exact gas type and voltage are listed on each product page.

What is the difference between a combi oven and a Hydrovection oven?

A combi oven (Invoq, BCX/BX, BLCT) runs convection, steam, or a combination of the two with full humidity control. A Hydrovection oven (HV, HVH) is a convection oven that injects moisture into the cavity — much of the benefit of steam without a full combi's plumbing and cost. HVH models add Helix technology for faster, more even heat transfer.

Where are Blodgett ovens made?

Blodgett has been building commercial ovens since 1848 and is still based in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Are Blodgett ovens certified?

Convection, deck and BCX/BX/BC combi ovens are NSF and ETL listed. Invoq combi ovens are NSF and UL (cULus) listed and Energy Star qualified. Hydrovection -ES models are also Energy Star qualified. The certifications that apply are shown on each product page.

Can Blodgett ovens be stacked?

Yes. Convection, deck and combi families are sold in single, double and — for some deck series — triple configurations, with the correct stand or stacking kit included in the configuration you order. Each listing states whether it is a single, double or triple unit.
